Sparking the Wonder Within
The mission of Sparking Art programs is to strengthen people’s
connections to their creative essence. The world becomes more
brilliant each moment any of us dares to explore and express
ideas, feelings and perceptions through creative activities!
Our programs assist beginner, developing and accomplished
artists.
Even if
• you were schooled in the
arts, or
• you are currently producing, publishing, or
performing,
it is likely that you get stuck by obstacles
on your creative path;
it's a natural part of the creative cycle.
Even if
• you feel like you have never really 'found' the artist within you, or
•
you know
your artistic nature, but are creatively frozen,
it is easier than you may think to transform these scenarios,
and Sparking Art
has the creative keys.
My clients and students see obstacles
vaporize, as I educate about the creative
process and I partner people in setting goals and
having fun accomplishing them, through creativity coaching,
classes, workshops, and support groups.
What is your creative essence?
Whatever makes you feel alive and brings out your passion
and excitement! Feeling awe or childlike wonder are good clues;
they are sparks of inspiration. Know one thing - YOU are an
incredibly unique, one-of-a kind creator. Why is connecting to your creative essence important?
Creative expression is healing and empowering. By consistently
recognizing your creative impulse and following inner knowing,
you draw out that essence into the most 'wonder-full' magic
for yourself. The magic has positive influence on your relationships,
work, and your creative endeavors, because you become more
of who you naturally are. When you start living daily through
this deeper soul meaning, your connection
to
the world blooms.
The act of exploring your uniqueness makes magic happen...
...and synchronicity starts to show up. Remember that
project you have on the shelf, that treasure chest that is safely
guarding your creative dream? The act of taking down, dusting
it off,
and opening the box starts the magic. You remember why you
loved that idea. Then, all of sudden, you have a little chunk
of unexpected time to devote to it. Or you just happen to
be reading a novel where your idea shows up. Or you are gifted
with a clue for the next step.…Whether it is performing
magic tricks, making eco-art, photographing Victorian houses,
dyeing silk, or writing utopian science fiction, your dream
is calling you! There is art and creativity in all kinds
of activity.
Getting adequate creative support...
Every person has a creative core; it is the nature of humanity.
We are creative beings, and my belief is that we all have some
degree of creative hunger. Our culture does not always
nurture creative expression in ways that allow us all to bring
forth
what is
inside us. Sparking Art is here to provide artistic nutrition
by helping people change the old tired perception “I’m
not an artist.” Life is about creating, and to live we
must create. It’s not so much about aptitude as it is
about attitude.
