When making Council cards in SoulCollage, we focus on mythic images, personal and collective. Metaphors are found in archetypal images and stories, mythology, religious literature, the Tarot, and writings on the divine feminine, to name a few sources. As Seena Frost describes, these metaphors derive from the imaginative vision and the emotion of the soul; they constitute our belief systems and myths about divine beings who offer their collective wisdom through many channels. People within and outside of traditional religious practices find this suit to be a supportive and enlightening one to make cards in.
